 This application had been in the Communities and Development Committee since January 1999. In bringing the item out of committee, the developer's attorney presented a verbal plan to allow for rezoning the R1, RC 165 acres to allow for single family "small" elderly houses, multiple family dwellings, and other not identified mixed uses.The developer, facing critical opposition from the public, City Council and the Planning Board, withdrew the application "without prejudice"
